G20 Research Group Holds Friday Press Briefing
On Friday, November 4th at 11:00am (CET), the G20 Research Group held its “Assessing the Cannes Summit Accomplishments” press briefing in the International Press Centre in Cannes, France. The briefing was well-attended by more than 40 media personnel.
The G20RG’s expert panel included:

Mabruk Kabir, University of Toronto, Canada and Bangladesh
The briefing included discussions related to IMF surveillance and the Cannes Summit’s projected effects on financial institutions, the FTT, the role of the Greek Crisis in the G20, and an overview of the anti-corruption agenda. Unique assessments were offered from the perspectives of France, Russia, Greece, and Japan.
After the briefing, Krystel Montpetit was interviewed by the Turkish National TV Channel and l’Est Républicain.
