The French Presidency has been awarded a 1 for committing in the 2011 final communiqué, to increasing the effectiveness of aid with respect to health through the alignment of health programming with partner country plans and priorities, guided by the Paris Declaration on Aid Effectiveness, the Accra Agenda for Action, and the Rome Declaration. The G8 committed to work together, “with major bilateral donors, global health programmes and country coordination initiatives, to improve … [the] implementation of aid effectiveness.”
